KatKat is one of our Hurricane Katrina rescue kitties. She is a little bit shy but has adjusted well to her new life at Casa de los Gatos.
SamuelSamuel was rescued from the Hurricane Katrina area. His eyes were damaged by the chemical sludge in the water after the flooding. As a result he needed surgery, and his eyes are now sensitive to light and he has impaired vision.
ButchButch was rescued from Hurricane Katrina area and is now a friendly and sweet cat.
FritzFritz is another Hurricane Katrina rescue. He has has skin allergies and is very allergic to fleas, but is friendly and out-going.
ChuckChuck is also a Hurricane Katrina rescue who is a little shy when he meets someone, but gradually becomes quite friendly .
DarbyDarby is another Hurricane Katrina rescue who has remained extremely shy.
WendellWendell came from a litter of 7 whose mama had been hit by a car and killed when the tiny kittens were only 5 weeks old. The luckiest kittens in the litter did not have the Feline Leukemia virus and were able to find loving homes. Wendell and his sister Whitney tested positive for Feline Leukemia, and remain with Casa de los Gatos.
WhitneyWhitney is a very friendly calico and loves to find a lap to cuddle up in. She'll sit with you for as long as you let her!
SamanthaSamantha is very sweet and gentle and has beautiful long black hair. She is usually curled up by herself but enjoys being petted and playing with catnip toys.
JakeJake has been with Casa de los Gatos since he was a tiny kitten that needed to be bottle fed because his mother was not producing milk He's grown into a very sweet boy.
AcornAcorn is a rather charismatic cat who has his own private fan club in the Feline Leukemia house. He is a quiet and serene presence that is both dignified and enigmatic.
ChesterChester is a bit timid and sometimes needs a little help with grooming, but he is a sweet cat who likes treats and gentle attention. He's feeling so much better after a generous donor paid for his dental work!
GemGem is very worthy of her name: she is a dilute tortoise shell kitty who is quiet and friendly and loves gentle attention.
LilyLily recently came to live in our Feline Leukemia house and has adjusted well to living with many other kitties, and accepts love from all of the people who visit.
OrvilleOrville is a large buff-orange male cat who tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Orville loves to get treats and attention along with his buddies at the Flanwill house.
MaxMax is a polite and patient guy. He likes attention and salmon flavored treats and gets along well with the many other FeLV+ kitties he shares space with.
MatthewIf you think you're seeing double, that's because Matthew is nearly an identical twin to his brother Max! Except for a patch of gray fur on Matthew's front right leg, it's hard to tell them apart.
Marxie and AcornMarxie (black and white) and Francie (Calico) are good buddies who live in our Feline Leukemia house. Both are sweet and affectionate kitties who would love to have more frequent visitors.
MaxieMaxie looks a lot like her sister Marxie, except that she only has half of a mustache. Both sisters are very soft long-haired, friendly kitties.
MaybellineMaybelline never did grow into her ears, but she is a very affectionate little cat. Her sisters are Maxie and Marxie.
MiraMira is a very sweet and patient girl who likes treats and attention but never crowds out other cats in our Feline Leukemia house. She is a beautiful Russian Blue kitty who would love to have a Purrfect Pal sponsor.
SophieSophie is a small calico cat with a huge purr! She likes to be held and loved, and she will reward you with her sweet cooing.
SonoraSonora is Sophie's orange tabby sister. She can be slightly shy but does like attention.
SimoneSimone looks sweet, but don't let that fool you! She lets all the other cats know that she is the reigning Princess. She likes to have her head rubbed but don't get too close to her tail!
TabithaTabitha is quiet and well behaved, but will reward you with wonderful purrs if you give her some love.
GraysonGrayson is a large, regal but unassuming long-haired gray kitty who tested positive for Feline leukemia. He will quietly work his way into your heart!!
JonathanJonathan holds his own in the Feline Leukemia house without being overly aggressive. He will gently but firmly request your attention!
RoxieRoxie is very affectionate and cute! She would love to have you visit her.
PacoPaco is a miracle! He came in as a very scared feral cat and it was hard to get anywhere near him. After many months of patience and kindness, he now enjoys being petted and will sometimes sit on your lap. He prefers that other cats don't get too close but he loves people!
OpalOpal is a purrbox and has a wonderful disposition! Her sweet round face and delightful temperament make her easy to recognize among the many black Feline Leukemia kitties!
LarissaLarissa is very loveable! She misses her sister Ladybug but craves affection from humans!
SelinaSelina is a little on the shy side. When she's comfortable she does like to be petted.
KianaKiana is a very beautiful Chocolate Point Siamese kitty with deep blue eyes. She loves to sit in laps and would welcome a Purrfect Pal sponsor!
RosaRosa is a wee bit chubby and she's not shy about seeking attention. Her sister Tessa can be shy, but on some days decides to be playful.
TessaTessa has the cutest little round face! She likes shoes a lot, so if you visit she will probably check yours out.
YoliYoli is rather shy, but likes attention. She is a beautiful long haired dilute tortoise shell kitty who lives at our Flanwill house with other Feline Leukemia positive cats.
CarlottaCarlotta was one of the original Casa de los Gatos cats. She came from a feral colony, was trapped and altered but could not be returned to the same area as it was not safe for her there.
Andrew and AnnieAndrew and Annie, a beautiful lilac colored brother and sister pair, have chronic digestive problems. They eat well, but both are very tiny cats, weighing less than 5 pounds! Andrew has liver problems too, but these two are very bonded to each other and have sweet dispositions despite their health issues.
    
Our many special needs cats are less likely to be adopted, as they may have tested positive for Feline Leukemia, or Feline Imunodeficiency Virus. Some may have lost an eye or a leg; some may still be semi-feral. You can help the Casa Cats by becoming a Purrfect Pal sponsor for just 25 dollars per month.
